About Our Company

In 1957, Franz Binder, sr. founded the since then existing independent family business binderholz as a small “one-gate sawmill” in Fügen in Zillertal of Tyrol.
Today, apart from the headquarters in Fugen in Tyrol Binderholz has 28 further sites. Around 5,000 employees at five Austrian, five German, fourteen British, one Latvian, two Finish and two US sites share passion for wood. The production sites thereby offer a great variety of diverse work fields and career opportunities in industrial wood processing.

The binderholz group has become one of the biggest solid timber producing companies in Europe. Both in the treatment and in the processing of the quite essential raw material wood, and with regard to our present and future employees, we are centrally oriented on the concept of sustainability.

A passion for wood and commitment to the business are the foundation of Binder's philosophy. What began sixty years ago, initially in the timber trade, has now evolved beyond the saw mill to encompass a much more comprehensive wood processing operation. New standards are continuously being implemented in the domain of engineering, product innovation and architectural design. Meanwhile the third generation of the Binder family retains overall management of the company and furthermore maintains their predecessors’ original inspiration for the product. Franz Binder senior turned his passion for wood into a profession during the 1950s. This passion is already being experienced by the third generation of the Binder family.

In 2020 we have acquired our new US production sites Binderholz Enfield LLC. & Binderholz Live Oak LLC. in Florida, developing our US organization and market presence to a larger scale step by step. We have been importing various mass timber products to the US & Canada for years, but with our own US sales entity in Atlanta, GA and our new production sites in Enfield, NC & Live Oak, FL we are heading to meet the growing demand of saw timber and massive wood products through regionally sourced and produced binderholz products in America.

Responsible for operating a forklift, to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count lumber, The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle within the shipping yard.

• Follow safety and work procedures.
• Removes the finished goods and transports to storage area
• Empties the kilns
• Scans lumber packages according to work instructions
• Transports laths and other things
• Clean industrial equipment and work stations.
• Other duties as assigned
• HS Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Hands-on work attitude, precise and detail-oriented workstyle; highly organized with good communication skills
• Able to organized and maintain a strong accuracy level in all administrative duties
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written. Able to interact at any level of the organization effectively
• At all times, behave honestly and ethically in all matters
• Must be a team player
• Must be highly computer literate for the maintaining of machine control systems software and upgrades.
