Binder’s Services LLC is seeking an experienced Fence Installer / Crew Leader to join our growing team. We install a variety of fencing systems including wood privacy, chain link, aluminum, vinyl, and custom fences throughout St. Tammany Parish.
This position is ideal for someone who already has fence installation experience, can lead a crew, solve problems in the field, and maintain high-quality workmanship. When fencing work is slow, team members may also assist with landscaping, drainage, and other outdoor construction projects.
We offer a competitive base wage plus a performance pay system that rewards productivity and efficiency. Top performers regularly earn $20-$30 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise fence installation crews
- Install wood, vinyl, chain link, aluminum, and custom fencing
- Read measurements and layout fence lines accurately
- Set posts, hang gates, and complete installations to company standards
- Operate power tools and construction equipment safely
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Drive company trucks and pull trailers
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Assist with landscaping and outdoor construction projects when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years fence installation experience preferred
- Experience installing multiple fence types
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Clean driving record preferred
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer
- Ability to lead and motivate a crew
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work outdoors in Louisiana heat and weather conditions
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
