Shipping Clerk -2nd Shift Bindery

We are seeking a Shipping/production Clerk 2nd Shift Bindery to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate production and outgoing shipment activities.

Responsibilities:

• In time write job tickets
• Prepare shipping documents including BOL (Bill of Lading) for Fedex and UPS
• Assist customers with shipping inquiries.
• Answer phone calls
• Order Processing:

a) Accurately process customer orders and ensure all details are captured correctly.

b) Collaborate with the bindery team to prioritize and schedule orders for production.

c) Monitor order progress and communicate updates to customers.

2. Shipping and Logistics:

a) Prepare shipping documents, including Bill of Lading, packing slips and labels.

b) Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of orders.

c) Organize and maintain shipping supplies and materials.

d) Inspect outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.

• Quality Assurance:

a) Conduct quality checks on finished products before shipping.

b) Address any quality issues with the production team to prevent reoccurrence.

c) Report any quality issues to Bindery Manager or Management.

Communication and Collaboration:

a) Work closely with internal teams, including production, and management, to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

b) Communicate effectively with customers to manage expectations regarding order timelines and potential delays.

• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of previous experience in shipping and logistics required.
• Experience in bindery/printing industry is a plus.
• Attention to Detail.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Flexible Schedule: Weekends are expected to work in busy season

THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION. HOURS 4:00PM-12:00PM (midnight)
