Any customer using their cellphone and our Binbox app (iOS and Android) can locate, rent a locker space, and store their items safely and securely for the duration of their event. Most importantly, our mission is a friendly and seamless customer experience. Binbox is growing fast and is emerging in multiple markets, including office spaces, sports venues, and arenas.
What will you be doing:
- Handle multiple customers at one time while ensuring our product is up to standard for each event.
- Set-up and tear down of rental space to include moving lockers, covering and uncovering lockers (tarps), setting up 10x10-10x20 tents, tables and chairs.
- Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions. Communicate equipment problems to the product manager as needed.
- Perform maintenance such as changing batteries,adjusting locker doors and adjusting locks.
- Helping customers navigate to the locker area creating traffic flow for ease of entering and exiting the space
- Provide positive, proactive support to customers who are scanning the QR codes and downloading the Binbox app and completing rental transactions.
- Work independently or with a team depending on the size of the event.
- Ensure nightly reports and logs are up to date before closing out the event.
- Must be able to work afternoons, evenings and weekends and 80% of the venue event schedule
Who you are:
- Ability to test, troubleshoot and use tools to repair product
- Proactive and positive customer-facing skills.
- Technical familiarity with downloading iOS and Android app technology in order to problem-solve and assist customers with rental transactions.
- At least 18 years old.
- Flexibility to remain onsite outdoors until event responsibilities are concluded, some events may run longer than scheduled.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on your own and walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous maintenance experience
- Previous customer service experience
