Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Automation Engineers to support a major greenfield CAPEX expansion project at a leading life sciences manufacturing facility in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The selected consultants will play a key role in automating two new filling lines while collaborating with internal engineering teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, configure, and troubleshoot automation solutions for automated filling lines.
* Program and support MES, HMI, and associated automation systems.
* Work with Allen Bradley PLC platforms and HMI applications such as RSView or Ignition.
* Document automation changes, troubleshooting activities, and system modifications.
* Coordinate with vendors during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and oversee onsite implementation.
* Troubleshoot existing automation systems and optimize production line performance.
* Support commissioning, validation, and startup activities for new production lines.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Required Skills
* 6 15 years of automation engineering experience, with the majority in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device industry.
* Hands-on experience automating and supporting filling lines.
* Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLC systems.
* Experience with MES, HMI, RSView, and/or Ignition.
* Proven troubleshooting and programming experience in industrial automation.
* Experience creating and maintaining automation documentation.
* Experience supporting FAT, commissioning, and vendor management.
Salary : $60 - $65
