I. Position Summary
The VP of Operations is responsible for overseeing the company's overall operational strategy and execution, ensuring comprehensive and continuous optimization of efficiency, quality, cost, and compliance. This role involves close collaboration with the CEO, CFO, CHRO, and other senior executives, driving business growth and operational excellence through process improvement, resource allocation, performance management, and cross-departmental coordination.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Planning
Lead the development of the company's annual operational plan, budget, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Translate company strategy into actionable operational goals and projects.
Lead major strategic projects (such as capacity expansion, process digitization, and supply chain integration).
2. Operations Management
Oversee daily operations, including key areas such as production, supply chain, logistics, customer delivery, and back-office support.
Control operating costs and improve resource utilization efficiency and capacity.
Identify operational bottlenecks and develop solutions.
3. Process Optimization & Operational Excellence
Promote Lean Management, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Establish standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Continuously drive the implementation of automation and digital tools (ERP, MES, WMS, RPA, etc.).
4. People & Organization Leadership
Manage and develop the operations team, including heads of departments such as production, logistics, quality, supply chain, and project management.
Build a high-performance organizational culture and optimize team structure and job responsibilities.
Participate in recruitment for key positions, incentive mechanism design, and performance appraisal.
5. Supply Chain & Vendor Management
Optimize the supply chain system to improve delivery reliability and cost efficiency.
Develop supplier strategies, conduct supplier evaluations, quality audits, and cost negotiations.
Manage inventory, forecast demand, and ensure supply chain resilience.
6. Quality, Safety & Compliance

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

III. Qualifications
1. Education Background
Bachelor's degree or above in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
2. Work Experience
Over 20 years of operations management experience, with over 15 years in senior management or near-senior management positions.
Experience in large-scale manufacturing, technology, logistics, retail, or energy industries is preferred.
Experience in successfully driving organizational expansion, process reengineering, or digital transformation is preferred.
3. Skills Required
Excellent strategic planning, operational coordination, and execution capabilities.
Proficient in process optimization, supply chain management, and project management.
Strong data analysis capabilities (familiar with ERP, BI, and process automation tools).
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
Able to manage complex projects in rapidly changing, high-pressure environments.
