Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering roll-off dumpsters to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining accurate delivery records. This role requires a professional with experience in route driving and hook-lift trucks. The Delivery Expert plays a vital role in maintaining our company's reputation for timely and courteous service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including hook-lift Ford F600 trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload dumpster using equipment such as Stellar hook lifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Conduct route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining optimal fuel efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction upon delivery.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Document deliveries accurately, including signatures and delivery confirmations, using electronic or paper systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with commercial driving experience involving small trucks or similar vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not needed.
- Experience operating hook lifts desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients.
- Familiarity with route planning and driving in various traffic conditions.
