Warehouse Shipping Associate

Department: Shipping and Receiving

Reports To: Shipping Lead

Overall Responsibility

Record shipment data such as weight and dimensions; pulling, picking, packing outgoing shipments (including large items such as exhausts)

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing for long periods of time, frequent bending, frequent heavy lifting (50 lbs. ) climbing tall ladders

Key Job Duties

• Packing, sealing, and labeling materials for transport
• Using hand tools and/or power tools
• Assists in receiving department if necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
• Maintains regular and prompt attendance
  
  

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Work efficiently with or without supervision
• Following instruction and procedures
• Ability to lift heavy objects or packages (over 50 lbs.)
