PRE-OPERATION ACTIVITIES
Verify with the supervisor the activities required for the shift.
PROCESS SUPPORT
Perform assigned tasks according to procedures and work instructions.
INDEXING / SORTING / CULLING OPERATIONS
Monitor the flow of product on conveyors leading to the indexing and packing areas.
Perform visual inspection of product before downstream equipment (such as slicer or equivalent, if applicable).
Ensure proper distribution of products on the belts.
Remove products that fall outside specification, such as misshaped items, incorrect size, incorrect colorr, or surface defects.
Monitor for product stuck together, damaged, underbaked, or overbaked.
Ensure continuous and uninterrupted flow of product to avoid jams or accumulation.
Communicate any abnormalities to the supervisor or maintenance as required.
Maintain cleanliness around conveyors to avoid slipping hazards.
NON-CONFORMING PRODUCT
Control non-conforming product.
Remove non-conforming product from the process.
Properly identify non-conforming product.
OTHER ACTIVITIES

Comply with HACCP Prerequisite Programs.
Follow the Internal Work Regulations.
Adhere to the company’s Quality Policy.
Attend and actively participate in required training sessions.
Report any maintenance or sanitation issues as needed.
Follow instructions from the Joint Safety & Hygiene Commission.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Wash hands as often as necessary.
Do not spill raw materials or contaminants into drains.
Participate actively in team meetings.
Treat coworkers respectfully at all times.
Take care of cleaning tools and equipment.
Do not leave the work area without authorization.
Understand and follow procedures applicable to the area, including HACCP and BRC standards.
