Recipe For Success:
· Provides leadership to the Sanitation Department through the training, coaching and mentoring of front-line Sanitors, driving a culture of safety, inclusion, engagement and accountability.
· Manages the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and ensures that equipment is cleaned on-time and according to HACCP and SQF standards.
· Performs environmental testing and documentation.
· Performs pre-op inspections including visual inspection and swabbing.
· Ensures Superior Quality Always by promoting a culture of Food Safety among all bakery associates through education and policy reinforcement.
· Under the direction of the Quality Food Safety Manager, assists in maintaining audit-ready compliance to all internal and external Quality Food Safety policies.
· Ensures that product scoring and related paperwork are completed accurately and on-schedule.
· Coordinates new-hire GMP/HACCP training.
· Participates in third-party audits including SQF (Safe Quality Foods) and AIB (American Institute of Baking).
What You’re Made Of:
· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related scientific major preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
· PCQI and HACCP certifications strongly preferred.
· 2-3 years of experience leading Quality/Food Safety teams in a high-speed food production environment.
· Leadership skills with a focus on associate development and accountability.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams.
· Computer proficiency including MS Office products.
