What you will be doing:
- Manage and oversee the receipt of bakery ingredients, packaging material, and other supplies.
- Ensure correctness of amounts, weights, and verify against company purchase orders.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, ensuring a first in, first out usage. Report any discrepancies or issues.
- Inspect incoming ingredients for contamination, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage.
- Operate powered equipment to transport materials to required areas.
- Maintain high safety standards and cleanliness, consistently ensuring the elimination of potential hazards.
- Uphold company standards, including GMP, Food Safety, Personal Safety, and Quality policies.
What we need from you:
- Comfortable in a warm working environment.
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
- Must have Skilled Forklift Experience
- Computer skills needed
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, E-mail (Outlook)
- Organizational skills needed
- Self -starter, highly Motivated
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
