Job Description
This is a mid-level staff position with responsibilities for plant installation, care, and maintenance in Estate gardens and landscapes. The Gardener II will work as part of a crew assigned to a specific section/area; crews are charged with design, presentation, and execution of gardening plan within established parameters. In addition, staff will assist with special projects and events as required.
Schedules can vary, but generally working 3 days a week, 7a - 330p with occasional weekends
Flex: A position working an average of 20-29 hours per week (between 1000 - 1559 hours/year).
The preferred candidate will have experience growing and maintaining annuals and perennials in an ornamental landscape.

Requirements:
- High school diploma. A two-year college degree and/or 2 years related on the job training. Industry acknowledged certifications and designations are preferred. B.S in Horticultural field preferred.
- At least two (2) years of related horticultural experience. The ideal candidate will
care/maintenance. A combination of education and experience may be
considered.
- Strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, herbaceous plants, and/or roses. Candidates
