Resources Director
Reports to: Executive Pastor - Ministries & CFO
Job Location: Central - Arden, NC Position Type: Full time, Exempt
Summary of Position: The Staffing & Human Resources Director is responsible for staff recruiting, hiring, onboarding, reviewing, and offboarding of staff at Biltmore Church. This role works closely with hiring managers to determine hiring needs, helps to coordinate and conduct interviews, oversees the staff review processes and serves as a human resources representative for the staff at Biltmore Church.

Demonstrates initiative with an ability to work effectively apart from close supervision
Detail oriented and strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee, candidate, compensation, personnel, and organizational information
3 years of HR or recruiting experience is preferred
Essential Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Hiring
Create and post all open positions, manage and respond to all jobs@biltmorechurch.com correspondence, schedule interviews, and follow up with all applicants not hired
Consult with hiring managers to determine hiring need, experience required, and preferred traits in order to define job descriptions and fill positions with the best possible candidates
Review applications/resumes and send to hiring managers to determine candidates to interview
Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates
Create offer packages for new hires in partnership with the Executive Team
Onboarding
Initiate and coordinate onboarding of new employees
Complete all necessary and required new hire tasks and paperwork
Conduct training and orientation on the first day for all new hires
Initiate the 90-day review for new employees
Offboarding
Complete all necessary and required offboarding tasks
Send and review exit interviews
Compile and send exit interview notes and feedback to the manager and Executive Team as requested
Special Projects & Miscellaneous
Provide leadership and support to the Receptionist
Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
Listen to confidential employee concerns and issues as HR liaison
Oversee staff evaluation processes
Maintain the staff org chart and job descriptions
Assist the Executive Team in maintaining, updating and interpreting employee handbook
Send out staff update emails as requested by Executive Team
Other duties as assigned
