About the Job

BILT seeks an Android Developer to create and maintain robust mobile applications for government clients, using Kotlin and Android SDKs. Due to the requirements of our government contract, this position requires U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement features and UI designs for seamless user experiences.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services for functionality.
• Ensure compliance with Google Play and government security standards.
• Collaborate with QA and UX teams to deliver high-quality apps.
• Optimize apps for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4 years of Android development experience.
• Experience with government or enterprise mobile apps preferred.
• Solid experience with Code Reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring code quality across the team.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Kotlin.
• Proven track record of publishing apps to Google Play.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment, including computers, tablets, phones, email, and various communication programs (such as Zoom and Teams).

This role is based in Grapevine, Texas.
