Overview
Join my team as a Personal Care Aide and help improve the daily life of a disabled veteran. You’ll provide personalized care, promote independence, and create a safe, respectful environment in the home.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in health, vital signs, or behavior
- Support medication administration
- Prepare and assist with meals
- Safely assist in transferring individuals-stand and pivot
- Maintain clean and sanitary living areas to include laundry and light house keeping
- Assist with personal care such as bowel and bladder care in a spinal cord injured veteran
Experience
- Experience in home care preferred
- Familiarity with developmental disability care
- Knowledge of vital signs and patient monitoring
- Ability to lift safely and use mobility aids
- CPR/First Aid training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.74 per hour
