Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks with precision and efficiency
- Conduct tire services including rotations, replacements, and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Assist with wheel alignments and brake inspections to maintain safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete repairs and maintenance tasks accurately
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and report findings for further repair needs
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tire changes or parts replacement
- Knowledge of oil change procedures, alignment processes, tire service, and general automotive service standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for detail and safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate various vehicles if needed
