- Advise on instructional technology budgeting and resource alignment.
- Promote digital equity and inclusive instructional practices.
- Build strong relationships with staff, students, families, and community partners.
- Support district initiatives aligned to curriculum, assessment, and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Montana Educator License
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience
- Demonstrated experience integrating technology into instructional practice
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory and coaching practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Technology, or related field
- Experience designing and delivering professional development
- Experience with instructional coaching cycles
- Knowledge of ISTE Standards and digital equity best practices
- Deep understanding of instructional best practices and curriculum alignment
- Knowledge of digital learning frameworks (ISTE Standards, personalized learning, blended learning)
- Skill in facilitating adult learning and coaching conversations
- Ability to analyze and interpret student achievement data
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

JOB GOAL:
To serve as a full-time instructional coaching specialist dedicated to empowering teachers to effectively integrate technology into instructional practice to enhance student learning outcomes.
This position functions as a Verizon Innovative Learning Schools (VILS) Coach, focusing on instructional coaching, professional learning design, systems implementation, and student-centered innovation not technical troubleshooting or IT support.
The Technology Integration Specialist VILS Coach collaborates with school leadership, district teams, and external partners to foster a growth-oriented culture, promote digital equity, and helps with technology integration that improves teaching and learning across Billings Public Schools.
