The incumbent is responsible to provide leadership in the design of the technical enterprise security systems. The Senior Enterprise Security Architect will provide guidance and direction with the digital transformation within Billings Clinic and Regional Affiliates to ensure continuity and consistency across and throughout departments within the healthcare organization. Ensures the delivery of quality, cost-effective information service and technologies in line with the Billings Clinic mission, vision, values, and goals. Accountabilities include technology program/business development, quality of service, short- and long-range planning directly related to the business unit, to achieve goals and objectives, fiscal control and responsibility to manage revenue and costs, physician and interdepartmental and intradepartmental relations, and personnel management.
Senior Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for developing the architecture for information security in IT systems across Billings Clinic and the Billings Clinic Health System. This position is responsible for providing vision and strategic leadership over all digital architecture standards to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new solutions. Senior Enterprise Security Architect will provide structure for the organization to ensure that information security supports the IT technology investments support business objectives. This includes working with IT Governance, Operations, Infrastructure, Applications, Data, and Security with the primary goal of ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the organizations technology systems and services. This role is focused on the enterprise of best practices and the control aspect of information security and providing expertise in technology systems and services that are critical to running Billings Clinic business.
Essential Job Functions
• Develops and provides guidance to enterprise technologies to align information security best practices to organizational mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and business objectives. Interprets and supports the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic. Responsible for the promotion of, and adherence to, the elements of Billings Clinic’s Code of Business Conduct and corporate compliance program as it relates to the business unit.
• In collaboration with Senior Leadership, physician leadership, other medical staff, and other health care providers, leads, develops, and revises technology offerings which enhance Information Technology and utilization within the organization. Acts as a recognized area expert within Billings Clinic Technology and to other health care organizations. Leads and champions utilization of information technologies and acts as a change agent.
• Leads Information Technologies in the overall information technology support, strategies and service priorities that support a quality-focused environment and the financial objectives of the organization. Coordinates with Senior Leadership and physicians to assure continuity in pursuing Information Technology system goals and synergy in implementing plans and problem resolution.

• Practices process improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of the service/care provided by Information Technologies. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency safety standards relevant to job performance for business unit and ensures business unit and staff compliance. Responsible to evaluate and improve customer service, coordination of systems and information technology across the Information Technology Department and the Billings Clinic enterprise.
• Recommends, implements, and evaluates technology plans and systems that assure enough qualified and competent staff to provide care, service and support. Adheres to administrative policy/procedures relating to human resource management.
• Demonstrates and encourages an ethic of open communication and teamwork throughout the organization. Builds an environment of shared commitment to Billings Clinic’s goals and responsibility to achieve quality outcomes.
• Works with Business and Regional partner teams to understand and document technology system requirements for data, SLAs/service levels, user experience, archiving/legal requirements, training, data governance, and performance. Assists with implementations related to area of responsibility. Ensures effective workflows and value. Provides in-depth documentation of the enterprise architecture, policy and change control activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
• Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree · Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent certifications and experience.
Preferred Graduate Degree · Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent experience preferred
Experience
• Five (5) to Ten (10) years progressive experience in cybersecurity/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong business acumen and executive presence.
• 5 · Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT and cybersecurity solutions.
• 5 · Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in Enterprise applications, middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualization and/or application technology.
Certifications and Licenses
• Advanced cybersecurity and/or related IT certifications highly desirable (e.g., CISSP, CASP , TOGAF, and related)
• Current Montana/Wyoming driver’s license and the ability to be insured to operate Billings Clinic vehicles.
