Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Litigation Assocaite located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting motions, attending hearings, managing depositions, and representing clients in court. The associate will work closely with our team of experienced attorneys to develop case strategies, prepare for trial, and ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Experience in drafting motions and managing depositions
- Strong understanding of court procedures and processes in state and federal courts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Opportunity to second chair trials
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- 3-5 years litigation experience
- Member in good standing with the Florida Bar and USDC
- Trial experience and federal procedure proficiency is a plus
