What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Custodian position at Billerica Public Schools?
This is a district-wide temporary position and the hours are from 2:30pm - 11:00PM (Monday-Friday) . The duration of this assignment is unknown at this time and the hourly rate of pay is $22.41.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High school education or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Working Knowledge of cleaning methods, material and equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs duties of building operations and cleaning
- Ability to vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, polish and waxes floor coverings
- Dust and cleans offices and classrooms
- Cleans and stocks restrooms daily and is responsible for building sanitation
- Assists in snow removal and cutting lawn’s
- Moves office and classroom furniture
- Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Essential Job Functions:
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds and lifts
