MAGNUS is part of the Dream Up Festival at Theater for the New City in the East Village, NYC that embraces experimental, bold work.
Wendy Biller: Playwright/director/movement.
Must be available for 5 performances during the festival that runs Aug 23-Sept 13, 2026. This is a non-Union full production. Pay is $900, which includes rehearsals beginning the third week of July 2026. Actors please submit headshot, resume, and a 1-2 minute monologue by June 30, 2026.

SISTER HARRIET - Same actress, a bit insane and cruel.
PAULETTE - A Jewish no-nonsense woman. 70s-80s
FREDERIKE - Same actress, plays the German mother of Magnus Hirschfeld
MAGNUS - The emcee in his ghostlike splendor based on the sexologist Magnus Hirschfeld. German accent, thick-rimmed glasses, a charmer. 30s-40s
