Position Purpose
The Vehicle Control Center Associate assists in new vehicle arrivals, executing due bill completion, and coordinating the general flow of new vehicle inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect new vehicles upon arrival from transportation companies and incoming and outbound dealer trade vehicles. Coordinate due bill completion with vendors, customers, and service department. Maintain “Due Bill” log with notes. Inspect vehicles prior to and after due bill items being completed. Locate and retrieve new vehicles that are being dealer traded from our inventory. Assist with shuttling vehicles as directed by management. Provides effective communication throughout the department as well as interdepartmentally. Perform a daily lot walk to verify new inventory has appropriate stickers and forms are displayed properly. Assist with monthly new vehicle inventory count/scanning. Create all new inventory jackets and file in incoming new vehicle inventory file. Maintain work areas and office clean and organized at all times. Other related duties may be assigned. Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy. Maintain a professional and business-like standard of dress consistent with the dress code requirements of the Shelly Automotive Group and/or specific dealership. Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled time. |
