Night Shift Private Party Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver
Schedule: Night Shift
Pay: Hourly Commission
We are hiring a Night Shift Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver to respond to agency calls and conduct private property patrol and enforcement. This role requires independent overnight work, consistent patrol activity, and meeting established performance expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to dispatched agency and service calls
- Patrol assigned private properties throughout the shift
- Identify and lawfully tow vehicles in violation of posted parking regulations
- Meet minimum performance expectations, including an average of 2 private party tows per shift or 14 per week, based on assigned properties and conditions
- Verify proper signage and authorization prior to enforcement
- Complete required documentation, photos, and nightly reports
- Operate tow equipment safely and in compliance with California laws and company policy
Requirements:
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Prior towing or private property enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must meet physical requirements of the role
Compensation & Compliance:
- Hourly pay plus commission based on performance
- Overtime paid in accordance with California labor laws
- Meal and rest breaks provided per California law
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
