What you’ll accomplish
- Install and integrate kitchen and laundry appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, etc.).
- Survey sites, take accurate measurements, and recommend ideal placement and routing.
- Follow all safety codes and manufacturer specifications during install and hookup.
- Perform post-install verification and functional testing to ensure everything runs flawlessly.
- Deliver clear, courteous guidance to customers and address questions on the spot.
- Maintain a clean work area and handle packaging disposal responsibly.
- Coordinate with teammates to meet timelines and deliver consistent results.
- Keep skills sharp by learning new models, connections, and installation techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
- Hands-on experience in appliance installation or closely related trades.
- Solid mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy units and work in varied conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
