As a Residential Appliance Diagnostics Specialist, you’ll combine sharp troubleshooting skills with clear, reassuring communication to restore refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens to peak performance.
Your day at a glance
You review your route, arrive prepared, and greet each customer with a plan. A refrigerator that won’t cool, a washer that won’t drain, or an oven with a faulty element—each call is a new puzzle to solve. You diagnose efficiently, complete repairs or maintenance, record your work and parts used, and wrap up by updating the team on insights that improve service for the next customer.
What you’ll tackle
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Perform repairs and routine maintenance to ensure appliances operate at optimal performance.
- Deliver clear, respectful customer communication about findings, options, and next steps.
- Document service calls thoroughly, including repairs performed and parts utilized.
- Stay current with industry trends and evolving appliance technologies to enhance service quality.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at every job site.
