Overview
Bills Towing is looking for experienced heavy wrecker operators. We will train qualified candidates. Bills Towing specializes in towing and recovery of light medium and heavy duty vehicles and equipment. Candidates must have a valid class A Cdl, minimum 3 years combination vehicle driving, able to drive 18 speed transmission and basic mechanical knowledge. Candidates must be a team player and willing to learn. We are a fast paced company.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maneuver equipment such as tow trucks, flatbeds, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Tow/recover vehicles from roadways
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience of vehicles is preferred
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles
- Previous experience operating tow trucks or flatbed trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage problems effectively and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Must possess a valid class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
