Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and repair of roofing systems, including shingles, metal roofing, and other materials
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate work execution
- Follow construction safety regulations diligently, including the proper use of safety harnesses and fall protection gear
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper form and safety standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris appropriately
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or hands-on experience in roofing or siding installation is preferred
- Knowledge of construction safety harnesses and adherence to workplace safety regulations
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and masonry tools as needed
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols
