Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Repair and replace powertrain components such as transmissions, engines, and diesel engines with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Service automotive systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), alignment, steering, suspension, and electrical systems to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex repairs involving transmissions, electrical wiring, and mechanical assemblies.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Knowledge of ADAS technology, schematics reading, and automotive diagnostics is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; experience with diesel engine repair is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
