Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and sales of our products within retail environments. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, inventory management, and an eye for effective merchandising strategies. The Sales Merchandiser will work closely with store personnel to ensure that products are displayed according to company standards and that inventory levels are maintained.

Duties

• Execute merchandising plans by arranging products according to schematics and promotional guidelines.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are adequate and report discrepancies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and recommendations.
• Collaborate with store management on product placement and promotional displays to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of merchandise displays, ensuring an appealing shopping environment.

Skills

• Strong inventory control capabilities, with experience in inventory management systems.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques, including the ability to read and implement schematics.
• Experience in training development for new team members or peers is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a team environment.
