The Automotive Porter plays a key role in maintaining the appearance of the dealership, ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for display or delivery while providing support our service departments. Essential Responsibilities
- Move and park new, used, and customer vehicles safely throughout the dealership.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the showroom, lot, service drive, and customer waiting areas.
- Wash, vacuum, fuel, and prepare vehicles for customer delivery and display.
- Organize inventory and ensure vehicles are properly parked and displayed.
- Transport vehicles between dealership locations, detail departments, body shops, or vendor locations as needed.
- Perform routine lot inspections and report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns.
- Keep vehicle keys organized and follow dealership key control procedures.
- Support the service teams with daily operational needs.
- Remove snow, debris, or litter from dealership grounds as needed.
- Follow all dealership safety policies and maintain a professional appearance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset.
- Previous porter, valet, detailing, or dealership experience is a plus but not required.
