Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and EXPERIENCED strategic Retread Manager to lead our retread manufacturing operations, ensuring the production of high-quality tire retreads while optimizing efficiency and safety. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire retread production process, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules utilizing systems such as to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing operations, applying data analysis techniques using Excel and supply chain analytics tools to identify areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using manufacturing methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Oversee supply chain management for raw materials, ensuring timely procurement and inventory control aligned with production planning.
- Manage cross-functional communication between maintenance, quality control, supply chain, and assembly to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead team development efforts by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within manufacturing environments, preferably in tire or rubber products.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing management systems such as SAP, ERP platforms, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and production scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel data analysis for reporting trends, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting decision-making processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across multiple functions while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices within manufacturing settings.
- Ability to analyze supply chain data and optimize operations through effective supply chain management strategies.
