The Role at a Glance – Bill Jacobs VW – Porter
We’re excited to add a Porter to our team! This role supports our service operations by moving vehicles between locations, assisting customers with quick pit stops, staging vehicles for pickup, and helping keep our service drive, lot, and facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. From gassing and washing vehicles to assisting with snow removal and other daily needs, you’ll play a key role in delivering a great customer experience. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a passion for the automotive industry..
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will support daily service operations by transporting vehicles between locations, assisting walk-in customers with quick pit stops such as checking tire pressure and topping off fluids, retrieving and staging vehicles for customer pickup, and moving vehicles to and from the car wash. You will gas and clean executive and loaner vehicles, assist with snow removal to maintain safe service drive and lot conditions, perform general shop and facility cleaning, and complete additional service-related tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or General Manager.
