Responsibilities
*Maintain the showroom: Keep showroom clean, organized, supplies stocked, dispose of, and install new samples as they change. Be aware and knowledgeable of all showroom products.
*Meet with Clients to complete detailed selections for their home including structural options. Offer upgrades, within the confines of a Client's budget.
*Manage specifications for projects in assigned communities. Generate required documents to implement selections and change orders within defined timelines.
*Communicate with Clients, Vendors, Suppliers, and Internal Departments within required timeframes to prevent delays in construction.
*Perform periodic site visits to ensure accurate implementation of design selections.
*Self-Motivated, Detailed-Oriented and able to Multi-task is essential.
*Provide a pleasant Client experience throughout the build of their home.
Summary
As an Interior Design Consultant, you will be instrumental in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces for clients. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, you will utilize core skills in color theory, CAD, and interior design to develop innovative design solutions. Your premium skills in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and/or Revit will enhance your design presentations and project management capabilities. Additionally, your relevant experience in renovation, construction, and budgeting will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, contributing to client satisfaction and the overall success of our design team.
Qualifications
- 3 years of Design Experience preferred or Design Degree
- Proficient in using design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Canva) and MicroSoft Office
- General knowledge of new home design, construction and productions (cabinets, tile, lighting, etc)
