A full-time, onsite Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed to provide therapeutic services within a K-12 school setting in Oxford, NC. This contract role is designed to cover a maternity leave for approximately 12 weeks, with potential for extension. The position primarily focuses on supporting elementary students, with some responsibilities extending to secondary students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid COTA or OT licensure in the state of practice
- Experience providing school-based occupational therapy services K-12
