Step into an impactful onsite role supporting students’ communication needs throughout the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working within a dynamic school environment. Starting August 2026 and continuing through May 2027, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to help students succeed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current and active state SLP license, along with valid Educator Certification
- Prior schools-based SLP experience is required
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with various caseloads and grade levels, as represented by caseload assignments determined at the beginning of the assignment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across multiple grade levels and diverse needs
- Perform evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), track progress, and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Participate thoughtfully in IEP meetings, consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Provide tailored interventions that foster student growth and support academic achievement
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation throughout the school year
- Adjust approaches and caseload focus as needed in response to student or district needs
