With openings at both the high school GOALS classroom and elementary essential skills level, this position provides a unique chance to work with a supportive team and dedicated students from June 1 through June 25.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Missouri Special Education Teacher certification required
- Demonstrated classroom experience with special needs students
- Familiarity with ESY programs preferred
- Flexibility to work Monday through Thursday, 25 hours per week
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting student success
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instruction tailored to the individual needs of students in either a high school GOALS setting or elementary essential skills class
- Implement IEPs, track progress, and collaborate with staff, families, and support personnel
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
- Communicate student progress and strategies effectively with team members and caregivers
- Maintain accurate documentation as required
