Position Overview


Bilco Brick is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer / Lead Architectural Representative to drive specification and growth of our commercial concrete brick line. This role combines technical expertise, architectural sales, and relationship development, with a focus on expanding our presence in the commercial market.


Compensation:

  • Base Salary (starting): $125,000 annually - UP TO $200,000 annually


Commission:

  • Uncapped commission based on a percentage of project sales resulting from the candidate’s architectural engagement, presentations, and specification work


Performance Bonuses:

  • Fixed bonus per completed AIA-accredited Lunch & Learn
  • Fixed bonus per project specification secured


Key Responsibilities;

  • Partner with sales leadership to establish and grow the commercial product line
  • Build and maintain relationships with architectural firms across Texas
  • Lead AIA-accredited Lunch & Learns (in-person and virtual), including development and submission of new courses and credit coordination
  • Serve as the technical resource for architects and designers, supporting specifications, custom product selection, and project execution from design through completion
  • Drive and secure product specifications on commercial projects while overseeing the sales process
  • Represent Bilco at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Collaborate with marketing on commercial initiatives and support residential sales on technical matters as needed


Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in architectural/specification sales
  • Background in exterior cladding, masonry, or building envelope systems preferred
  • Proven ability to get products specified and build lasting relationships with architectural firms
  • Experience presenting and developing AIA-accredited courses
  • Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills
