The Production Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies and supporting paint line operations for Haulotte Aerial Work Platforms, including Telescopic Boom Lifts, Articulating Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and Trailer-Mounted Booms. This role ensures products are built safely, accurately, and finished to high-quality standards for durability and appearance. The operator will primarily work in Assembly and rotate to the Paint Line as needed.

Assembly Functions
- Handle, position, and place components or sub-assemblies using appropriate tools and equipment (cranes, slings, hand and power tools)
- Assemble components according to established processes and work instructions
- Perform visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications (assemblies, labeling, and design requirements)
- Verify proper assembly/disassembly (alignment, fit, operation, and retention) and correct minor deviations
- Maintain production tools in good working condition (wrenches, torque tools, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production documentation
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leads, and coworkers
- Assist in training new employees as needed
- Proactively identify and help resolve production issues
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial painting preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions in English
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
- Must be willing and able to learn multiple positions within the work cell, including paint line operations
- Basic PC skills and ability to use handheld scanners
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attendance
- Forklift experience preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
