Paint Line Operator
The Paint Line Operator is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing components and assemblies for Haulotte Aerial Work Platforms, including Telescopic Boom Lifts, Articulating Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and Trailer-Mounted Booms. This role ensures high-quality surface finishes that meet company standards for durability and appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask parts prior to painting; inspect for defects or contamination.
- Paint Application: Operate automated and manual spray systems to apply primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes according to specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect painted parts for coverage, color match, and finish quality; perform touch-ups as needed.
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Set up, operate, and maintain paint line equipment, including spray guns and booths.
- Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA and company safety protocols for handling chemicals, PPE usage, and ventilation.
- Documentation: Record paint usage, batch numbers, and production data; maintain accurate logs for traceability.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve finish quality.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year in industrial painting or manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Essential Functions: must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously with no restrictions
Salary: $21.50 (inclusive of a $3.00 hour attendance bonus)
