We are looking for a results-driven Production Supervisorto join our team. This individual will oversee manufacturing operations on the production floor, ensuring output targets are met safely, on time, and within quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to continuous improvement, team development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct production employees across assigned shift(s), ensuring adherence to schedules, procedures, and performance standards
- Monitor production output, efficiency, and quality metrics; take corrective action to meet daily and weekly targets
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies
- Train, mentor, and develop production team members; provide ongoing performance coaching and formal evaluations
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, materials, and scheduling teams to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
- Enforce GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control protocols
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including OEE, scrap rates, downtime, and labor utilization
- Maintain accurate production records, shift logs, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
- Manage employee scheduling, time and attendance, and overtime to align with production demands
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity
- Forklift certification preferred, but will train the right candidate
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-volume, fast-paced production setting
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality systems
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices
- Experience tracking and reporting production KPIs and performance data
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing floor environment; exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- May require overtime, weekend work, or shift flexibility based on production needs
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required in designated areas
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
