About the role
As an Analytics Engineer at Bikky, you’ll work on the pipelines, data models, and aggregations at the core of our platform. Your role will span the full spectrum of data engineering and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to every part of our systems.
On any given day you might:
- Build a new data model to support clear, intuitive, analyses
- Optimize a section of our pipeline to reduce costs and runtime
- Wrangle a new data source - building an end-to-end ETL process to merge it into our core data models
- Improve the accuracy of our core identity graph - we merge billions of events into hundreds of millions of consumer profiles, with many subtle tradeoffs along the way
- Track down a complex data quality issue and build supporting tools to prevent similar issues in the future
- Support the rest of the engineering team with investments in developer productivity. We want our product teams focused on delivering value - not wrestling with infrastructure.

About you
We’re building a high scale, multi-tenant, data system that processes dozens of data sources. Data quality, performance, and developer productivity are significant focuses for us and we’re pushing the forefront of industry best practices. Solving our customer’s problems efficiently, clearly, and accurately is critical to our success. Simultaneously, we’re a lean team with big product ambitions and we need to be intentional in where we invest in our technical platform.
To meet that challenge we’re looking for candidates with strong data engineering fundamentals, paired with a pragmatic mindset.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years of experience
- Fluency in SQL; competency in Python
- Track record of building complex data systems at scale
- Excellent data modeling instincts
- Deep attention to detail and a love of wrangling messy data
- Experience with our stack (Snowflake, DBT, Dagster) is a plus but not required

- $150,000 - $200,000 annual salary. Estimated salary range is inclusive of multiple levels and will be narrowed in the interview process.
