Bike Walk Macon is seeking a full-time Executive Director to lead the organization’s next phase of growth and impact. This role is responsible for advancing Bike Walk Macon’s mission through advocacy, education, partnerships, and organizational leadership.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Advocacy at the local, regional, and state level
- Public and governmental relations
- Organizational leadership and membership growth
- Financial management, fundraising, and grants
- Staff and volunteer management
- Board coordination and support
Who We’re Looking For:
- A collaborative leader with a Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in advocacy, nonprofits, or community programming
- An effective communicator who can build consensus among diverse stakeholders and elected officials
- Someone with a proven track record in fundraising, grant management, and community engagement
- A champion for Vision Zero, equity, and safer streets in Macon-Bibb County
Position Details:
- Full-time, based in Macon-Bibb County
- Salary: $55,000–$60,000, plus benefits
- Long-term position funded through core operations
