Experienced Medical Services Manager for busy Hand, Shoulder, Elbow orthopaedic service within a large practice in the Financial District. Excellent hospital salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative oversight of daily operations. Actively utilizes improvement strategies to positively impact all aspects of operations the inpatient and outpatient services.
- Excellent understanding of Customer Service and Patient Satisfaction.
- Assists with maintaining inpatient ambulatory patient flow and emergency care.
- Proficient knowledge of working with EPIC EHR system.
- Strong liaison service between physician and patients.
- Supervision of authorizations and pre-certifications.
- Appointment scheduling and insurance verifications.
- Assist with insurance disability forms.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong written and communication skills are essential.
- Experience with Commercial Insurance and Workers Compensation.
