We are a busy 7 doctor practice and need someone who can multi-task with excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service skills are a must, especially during high-stress situations. You need to be a quick learner and have a basic knowledge of computers and animals. You need to excel when it comes to working with people and their pets and have a kind compassionate heart. This is not a sit-down job. You will be responsible for client services such as phone calls, check-in/check-out, rooming clients and patients, medication fills, surgery paperwork for before and after as well as a multitude of other duties. Duties
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Handle phone calls, emails, text messages, providing information about services, answering questions, and addressing client concerns.
- Process medical records and maintain accurate patient files.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate clients on pet care, and general health practices.
- Medication handling
Skills
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with staff and clients.
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care protocols is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with clients and team members.
