We are looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to our growing team! The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving auction success by generating qualified leads, supporting sales execution, and ensuring seamless communication across teams. This position serves as a key link between customers, outside sales, and internal departments, helping to identify opportunities, improve listing accuracy, and enhance the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, with a focus on supporting revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions
- Make outbound cold calls to generate qualified leads for the outside sales team.
- Call new registrations in open AARs to identify potential buyers or sellers.
- Distribute and track company-generated leads to appropriate outside sales team members.
- Support National Account and Regional Sales Managers by preparing performance (ring man) calls for auction items.
- Assist with ring man calls for large estate and retirement auction packages.
- Provide ongoing communication between support departments and outside sales personnel.
- Generate and develop custom reports within HubSpot to support sales activity and decision-making.
- Collaborate with outside sales to resolve listing issues and ensure accuracy of listings.
- Data entry for new leads, customer interactions, etc., in HubSpot
- Cross departmental coordination with Customer Service, Marketing, and other departments to help drive leads or initiatives.
- Support the ongoing improvement and adoption of internal sales tools
- Generate and send post-sale reports for National and Strategic Account sellers.
- Help facilitate post-sale communication with buyers to ensure smooth transactions.
- Collaborate on developing and improving training resources for the sales team.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as needed.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
- Associate’s Degree, preferred, in related field and/or four years of experience preferred.
- Experience in equipment sales in agriculture, construction, transportation, and utility industries.
- Prior work in Office Environment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and other applications used by the Company.
- Experience in customer service (internally and externally) and community engagement.
