What are the responsibilities and job description for the INVENTORY CONTROL SUPERVISOR position at BIGHORN GOLF CLUB?
POSITION OVERVIEW
Effectively manages beverage inventory by overseeing receipt of product, requisitions, transfers, case sales, and end-of-month inventory for all Food and Beverage outlets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Places alcoholic beverage orders based on business forecast
- Ensures correct products are stocked in all outlets
- Processes case sale transactions promptly and completes corresponding transfers/invoices
- Codes invoices and manages case sale inventory separately from club inventory
- Fills all alcoholic beverage requisitions
- Transfers all alcohol inventory to correct outlets
- Works with purchasing, receiving, and banquet departments to fulfill special event requests and bars
- Manages depletion reports for billing of special events for submission following business day
- Conducts monthly inventories
- Assists in cost controls by reviewing pricing, minimizing waste, and effectively managing inventory levels
- Assists purchasing and receiving with any day-to-day operations as needed
- Creates systems to organize and streamline inventory, product storage and service
- Creates cleaning and organization schedules, ensuring a safe, organized, and clean work area throughout the purchasing, storage, loading dock, and receiving areas
- Other duties as assigned by Club Services Manager or Clubhouse Manager
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
- Six months’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
- 12 months of warehousing, logistics, or storeroom experience preferred.
Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities
- Previous experience in purchasing, receiving or accounting
- Alcoholic Beverage or Wine Experience
- Proficiency in Jonas POS, Excel and other programs
Required Licenses/Certifications
- California Driver’s License
- Riverside County Food Handlers Certificate
- RBS or equivalent Alcohol Awareness Training
