- Oversee the billing process and ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers
- Manage a team of billing specialists and provide leadership and support as needed
- Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve these goals
- Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure that necessary maps and other billing backup documentation are completed timely and accurately
- Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Establish and maintain relationships with coordinators and management at all major customers
- Respond to billing inquiries and resolve billing issues as needed
- Prepare and present billing reports to senior management
- Develop forecast of customer approved invoices with the assistance of the Accounting team
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing or accounting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Familiarity with billing software and systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to billing and collections
- Experience in high-volume billing, especially in construction, legal or manufacturing billing is a plus
- Experience with SAP is a huge plus
