What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Design Intern position at Bigelow?
Area of Focus / Project Details
Objective : Assist the Brand Marketing team with the design and visual communication of Bigelow Tea in both traditional vehicles and the digital and social space.
- Assists with creative exploration and design execution of go-to-market needs which may include in-store display headers, shopper marketing assets, editorial media such as magazine ads, sports marketing needs, display and / or packaging renderings, and other creative support where needed
- Assists with development and creative execution for the digital realm including social media, website, and e-commerce which may include retouching and adjusting images for various types of content
- Contributes to brainstorm sessions and proactively offers input and feedbackPosition reports to : Packaging Process Manager
Requirements (include Educational level)
Education : Requires a Graphic Design and / or Marketing related major ideally entering his / her senior year in college or has recently completed their 4 year degree.
Role : hard-working designer with a positive attitude who is passionate about design and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly turn ideas into engaging visuals. Embodies the desire to create engaging graphics but mindful of staying true to the brand. Well organized, communicates effectively, and is a collaborative team player.
Required skills & preferred experience : Adobe Creative Cloud - Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Working knowledge of After Effects or Premiere. Working knowledge of PC based programs including Microsoft Office programs (i.e. PowerPoint, Outlook).
Photography skills preferred but not required.
Familiarity preparing art files for print production is a plus but not required.
