Job Summary
We are seeking a strong, dedicated, and enthusiastic Stocker who can also Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong cash handling skills, a background in retail sales, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases.
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively.
- Perform inventory checks and assist in maintaining stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions and ensure accurate pricing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of daily tasks.
Experience
- Experience lifting 50lbs is necessary
- Previous experience in cash handling or operating a cash register is preferred.
- Familiarity with liquor store operations or retail sales is advantageous.
We have two positions available with clerk roles need to be filled immediately. Candidates with the right skills and/or experience may be eligible to start as drivers. We offer flexible scheduling options, with consistent hours once assigned. Shifts range from as little as 4 hours to as many as 11 hours per day, available 3 to 5 days a week, with optional weekend work for those interested.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
