Position Summary:

The Environmental Engineering internship provides an opportunity to work at the forefront of our company's environmental stewardship efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection and analysis of environmental data, including air emissions, water discharge, and waste management records.
- Support engineers in preparing and submitting environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
- Help conduct environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Contribute to projects focused on reducing the refinery's environmental footprint, such as energy efficiency or waste management initiatives.
- Participate in investigations related to environmental incidents and help develop corrective action plans.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Junior or Senior standing preferred, all others welcome).
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Strong academic background in core engineering principles and problem-solving.
- Interest in refining, process systems, or energy-related industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
